Browser script execution via insufficient input validation

Cross-site scripting in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software allows remote attackers to run script code through its web services interface. The interface insufficiently validates user-supplied input delivered by a crafted link before the browser interprets it. Exploitation requires a user to follow the link and an affected AnyConnect or WebVPN configuration; resulting script runs in the interface context and can read sensitive browser-based information.
