Improper input validation in Cisco IOS XE Software vDaemon allows remote attackers to reload SD-WAN devices via crafted packets. The vDaemon process mishandles malformed network packets, causing the device to reload and interrupt service. Exploitation requires the SD-WAN feature to be enabled, but no authentication or user interaction; impact is denial of service through device reload.
