OS command injection in Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software before 4.5.1 allows local users to execute commands as root. The affected configuration command insufficiently validates user-supplied input before executing it on the underlying operating system. A non-privileged account authenticated to the restricted CLI is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants full root command execution.
