Cross-account list modification via missing ownership check
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024
Improper access control in Cisco Webex Meetings before 41.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to modify others' distribution lists. The distribution-list update interface accepts a crafted request without verifying that the authenticated requester owns the targeted list. Any organization member with an account can alter another member's list contents, while confidentiality and service availability remain unaffected.
