Browser script execution via unvalidated crafted links
Published Apr 8, 2021 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Unity Connection before 14 allows remote attackers to run script in an interface user's browser. The web-based management interface fails to validate user-supplied input embedded in a crafted link before returning it to the browser. Exploitation requires an interface user to click the link, after which script executes in the affected interface context and can access sensitive browser-based information.
