User redirection via unvalidated HTTP parameters
Published May 6, 2021 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Open redirect in Cisco Integrated Management Controller Software allows remote attackers to redirect users through crafted links. The web-based management interface accepts HTTP request parameters without sufficient validation and uses them to select an external redirect destination. Exploitation requires a user to click an attacker-crafted link; a successful redirect can send that user to a malicious website for phishing.
