Unauthenticated administrator token issuance via improper validation
Published Feb 24, 2021 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Authentication bypass in Cisco Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator 3.0 allows remote attackers to obtain an administrator API token. A specific API endpoint improperly validates a crafted request and issues a token with administrator-level privileges. No credentials or user interaction is required, and the token authenticates to affected Orchestrator and managed APIC APIs.
