Arbitrary file modification in Cisco NX-OS Software 9.3(5) and 9.3(6) allows remote attackers to alter device files via TCP port 9075. The internal file management service incorrectly binds port 9075 to external interfaces and processes crafted packets with root privileges. Affected Nexus switches are vulnerable by default; successful requests can overwrite configuration files or add accounts.
