Command injection in Cisco Secure Web Appliance allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands as root via crafted XML. The configuration import path accepts user-supplied XML containing scripting code without sufficient validation before processing it. A valid account with configuration-upload rights is required, and successful exploitation grants full control of the appliance.
