Cross-tenant access via insufficient authorization checks
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Authorization bypass in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager allows remote authenticated users to access unauthorized tenants via crafted HTTP requests. The multi-tenant web management interface performs insufficient authorization checks when processing the requests, allowing a valid tenant account to cross tenant boundaries. The Multi-Tenant feature must be enabled, and a valid account is required; successful exploitation connects that account to tenants it is not authorized to access.
