CVE-2021-1272Network attack vector

Unauthorized Device Manager access via crafted request

Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

SSRF in the session validation feature of Cisco Data Center Network Manager before 11.5(1) allows remote attackers to access Device Manager. The DCNM web application insufficiently validates parameters in a crafted HTTP request before using them for a server-side request, allowing its access controls to be bypassed. Exploitation requires an authenticated DCNM user to receive the request and can expose Device Manager and the managed network devices it controls.
