Authenticated service interruption via crafted request logging
Published Feb 4, 2021 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Denial of service in the Cisco MSX REST API before 3.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via crafted requests. The request-logging path consumes excessive resources while recording a flood of crafted API requests. Valid API credentials and sustained network access are required; successful exploitation interrupts availability without reading or modifying data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
