Arbitrary file read in Cisco Secure Client on Linux and macOS before 4.9.03047 and Windows before 4.9.03049 allows local users to read OS files. The upgrade component processes a crafted local CLI command without sufficient file-permission restrictions, exposing files beyond the caller's normal access. Exploitation requires valid local credentials but no elevated privileges or user interaction, and its documented consequence is file disclosure only.
