Authenticated script execution via insufficient input validation
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Data Center Network Manager before 11.5(1) allows remote authenticated users to execute script in the web interface. The web-based management interface accepts malicious data in specific fields without sufficient validation and processes it as active script in another interface user's browser. Network-operator privileges and interaction by another interface user are required; execution is confined to the affected interface context and browser data.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
