Administrative SQL command execution via unvalidated API input
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
SQL injection in Cisco Data Center Network Manager before 11.5(1) allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. A REST API endpoint insufficiently validates user-supplied input before using it in SQL commands. Administrative privileges and a crafted API request are required; exploitation permits unauthorized data access or changes and operating-system command execution that can interrupt service.
