Arbitrary code execution via unverified ISO script

Improper ISO signature verification in Cisco IOS XR Software allows local users with administrator privileges to execute arbitrary code. An unsigned script embedded in a modified ISO is not verified by the packaging-signature path before the upgrade process executes it. Exploitation requires an administrator to install the altered image, or an unsuspecting administrator to select it from a file server, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code on the router.
