Database reads and writes via SQL injection
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
SQL injection in Cisco SD-WAN vManage before 19.2.3 allows remote attackers to read or modify database and operating-system values. The web-based management interface passes improperly validated values into SQL queries, allowing crafted input to alter query semantics. Cisco describes the attacker as unauthenticated but also states that exploitation involves authenticating to the application; successful attacks read or modify values without interrupting service.
