Root command execution via malformed HTTP input
Published Jan 13, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Command injection in Cisco Small Business RV110W, RV130, RV130W, and RV215W routers allows remote authenticated attackers to execute root code. The web management interface improperly validates user-supplied fields in crafted HTTP requests, passing attacker-controlled input to operating-system command handling. Valid administrator credentials and access to the management interface are required; exploitation can run code as root or reload the router, interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
