Stored XSS via insufficient management-interface validation
Published Jan 13, 2021 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Stored XSS in Cisco Small Business RV110W, RV130, RV130W, and RV215W routers allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The web-based management interface stores values supplied in crafted HTTP requests without sufficient validation and later renders them in a user's browser. Valid administrator credentials and victim interaction are required; exploitation executes script in the interface context or exposes sensitive browser-based information.
