Path traversal in Cisco Data Center Network Manager before 11.4(1) allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary files via its REST API. The REST API insufficiently validates user-supplied paths in crafted requests, permitting traversal outside the intended location and deletion of filesystem files. A low-privilege account and network access to the API are required; the documented consequence is arbitrary file deletion, not file reading or code execution.
