CVE-2021-1132Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via HTTP path traversal

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024

Path traversal in Cisco Network Services Orchestrator 5.3 and 5.4 allows remote attackers to read sensitive files via crafted HTTP requests. The web-management interface and certain HTTP-based APIs fail to validate directory traversal sequences before resolving attacker-controlled request paths. Network access to an enabled affected HTTP interface is sufficient; successful requests disclose server-side files without authentication.
