CVE-2021-1111

Disclosure, tampering, and service interruption via NV3P overflow

Published Aug 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Buffer overflow in the NVIDIA Jetson NV3P server before 32.6.1 allows physically proximate attackers to alter data or interrupt service via USB. The NV3P server applies an incorrect bounds check to USB-supplied input, permitting an out-of-bounds operation in bootloader memory. Physical USB access is required; successful exploitation exposes limited information, alters limited data, or interrupts the device.
