Host crash via unchecked user-space pointer dereference

Improper pointer validation in NVIDIA vGPU Software 12.x before 12.3, 11.x before 11.5, and 8.x before 8.8 allows local users to crash the host. The nvidia.ko Virtual GPU Manager kernel driver dereferences a user-space buffer pointer without validating it first. The attacker must already be able to run a process on the hypervisor host; exploitation crashes that host without disclosing or modifying data.
