CVE-2021-1081

Data disclosure and corruption via unchecked input length

Published Apr 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

An input-validation flaw in NVIDIA vGPU Software 12.x before 12.2, 11.x before 11.4, and 8.x before 8.7 allows local users to read or alter data. The guest kernel-mode driver and host Virtual GPU Manager process supplied data without first validating its declared input length. A low-privileged local account is required; successful exploitation can expose or tamper with data or interrupt the affected guest or manager service.
