Information disclosure or service interruption via resource race
Published Jan 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Race condition in NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager 8.x before 8.6 and 11.x before 11.3 allows local users to disclose data or interrupt service. The vGPU plugin continues using a previously validated resource after a concurrent change makes that validation stale. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and successful race timing; the resulting impact is limited to information disclosure or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
