Resource allocation flaw in NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager 8.0 through 8.5 and 11.0 through 11.2 allows guest OS users to expose or alter data. The vGPU plugin grants a guest resources it is not authorized to allocate, but NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected request handler or resource type. A low-privileged guest can trigger the flaw locally without user interaction, causing data exposure, unauthorized modification, or host service interruption.
