Information disclosure in DevicePickerFragment in Google Android Automotive OS 9 through 12 allows local users to track paired devices. DevicePickerFragment sends a device-pairing broadcast without a permission check, allowing any installed app to register a receiver without BLUETOOTH permission. A malicious local app needs only to monitor pairing events; the disclosed impact is exposure of the set of paired devices, not their contents.
