Local privilege escalation via unchecked Binder cast

Incorrect type conversion in Android 12 SurfaceFlinger allows local users to execute arbitrary code in a privileged process. setTransactionState accepts caller-supplied IBinder handles and statically casts them to Layer::Handle without verifying a local binder and the expected interface descriptor. A low-privileged local process can reach the flaw without user interaction and gain SurfaceFlinger's privileges.
