Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Android 12 DevicePolicyManagerService allows local users to read a profile owner's organization name. The getOrganizationNameForUser hidden API returns that value without restricting callers to system components. Exploitation requires local low-privileged code but no user interaction, and the consequence is limited to configured organization-name data.
