Use-after-free in MediaTek apusys on Android 10.0 through 12.0 allows local users with System privileges to escalate privileges. MediaTek discloses only that apusys accesses freed memory and corrupts memory, without identifying the affected function or object. The path requires local access and System execution privileges, needs no user interaction, and can yield higher privileges on listed chipsets.
