An out-of-bounds read in the MediaTek geniezone driver on Android 8.1, 9.0, 10.0, and 11.0 allows local users to disclose information. The driver applies an incorrect bounds check and reads beyond a buffer boundary, exposing adjacent memory. Exploitation requires System execution privileges, needs no user interaction, and has no reported ability to modify data or interrupt service.
