Confused-deputy privilege escalation in Android 11 Framework allows local users to gain WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE without user interaction. AnnotateActivity.onLoadFailed mishandles a failed annotation load and delegates storage-permission acquisition without obtaining user consent. A local low-privileged application gains write access to external storage without additional execution privileges or user action.
