Out-of-bounds write in Android SoC memory management driver allows local users to escalate privileges through uninitialized data. The driver uses uninitialized data in a write operation, causing the write to extend beyond its intended bounds. A local application with ordinary execution privileges can trigger the flaw without user interaction and gain elevated control of the device.
