Local privilege escalation via driver use-after-free

Use-after-free memory corruption in Android SoC memory-management drivers allows local users to escalate privileges without interaction. The driver accesses an object after its lifetime ends and corrupts memory; public records identify neither the affected function nor the object. A local application needs no additional execution privileges, and exploitation raises its privileges on devices containing the affected MediaTek component.
