Local privilege escalation via mismatched HID arrays

Heap buffer overflow in the Android kernel HID subsystem allows local users to elevate privileges through a crafted HID report. hid_register_field allocates the value array from report_count while permitting a larger usage array, so __hidinput_change_resolution_multipliers indexes value by a usage index and writes past its heap allocation. Exploitation requires local access to kernel HID report parsing; no user interaction or additional execution privileges are required, and successful exploitation gains elevated privileges.
