Privilege escalation in Google Android 11 allows local users to gain elevated privileges through a cross-profile app permission error. CrossProfileAppsServiceImpl resets INTERACT_ACROSS_PROFILES relative to the calling profile group instead of having DevicePolicyManager restore the correct state across every user in the group. Exploitation requires an installed local application and user interaction; the resulting grant-state mismatch enables elevation without prior execution privileges.
