Sensitive information disclosure in Juniper Networks Junos OS allows local users with shell access to read root-only files through mosquitto. The root-owned mosquitto executable retains setuid permissions and accepts an attacker-chosen configuration file, then exposes its first line in a parser error. An authenticated shell account is required; disclosed data can include password hashes from master.passwd, while integrity and availability are unaffected.
