Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Juniper Networks Junos OS on Junos Fusion satellites allow local users to elevate privileges and control the device. Juniper has not published which satellite account or authentication path embeds or accepts the credentials. A local low-privileged foothold on an affected satellite is required; successful use grants control of the satellite.
