CVE-2021-0232Network attack vector

Configuration disclosure via Test Agent impersonation

Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Authentication bypass in Paragon Active Assurance before 2.35.6 and 2.36 through 2.36.1 allows remote attackers to read configuration. The Control Center accepts deployment-specific information to identify an already registered Test Agent without sufficiently authenticating the connecting endpoint. Successful impersonation exposes associated inventory details and prevents the legitimate Test Agent from connecting, with no reported data modification.
