CVE-2021-0220Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via recoverable UI-exposed secrets

Published Jan 15, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Credential exposure in Juniper Networks Junos Space before 20.3R1 allows context-dependent attackers to obtain managed secrets via the UI. The platform stores shared secrets in a recoverable form and renders them to the browser, leaving credential copies available to in-page script or cached content. Exploitation requires arbitrary code in a victim browser, such as XSS, or access to its cache; exposed credentials grant access to connected servers.
