Incorrect default permissions in Intel Processor BIOS firmware allow local users with high privileges to interrupt system operation. Intel has not disclosed the affected firmware locus or which default access mode permits the denial-of-service condition. High privileges and local access are required; Intel has not specified whether the interruption causes a crash, hang, reboot, or shutdown.
