Improper input validation in Intel Optane Persistent Memory firmware before 1.2.0.5446 or 2.2.0.1547 allows local users to interrupt service. Intel has not published the firmware input or validation operation that triggers the denial of service. Reaching the flaw requires privileged local access, and the reported consequence is limited to loss of availability.
