CVE-2021-0079

Unauthenticated wireless service interruption

Published Nov 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper input validation in Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi and Killer WiFi for Windows 10 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Intel has not disclosed the affected software component, the rejected input, or how validation failure reaches the denial-of-service condition. Exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction, but the attacker must have adjacent wireless access; the reported consequence is limited to service interruption.
