CVE-2021-0073

Local privilege escalation via undisclosed control flow flaw

Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Insufficient control flow management in Intel Driver & Support Assistant before 20.11.50.9 allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel has not published the affected component, control-flow path, or untrusted operation that triggers the flaw. Exploitation requires authenticated local access and high attack complexity, and successful use grants higher privileges with the ability to alter data or interrupt system operation.
