Buffer overflow in Apple ImageIO on iOS and iPadOS before 14.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by processing a maliciously crafted image. The FontParser component fails to validate image-related input size before copying data, allowing a crafted image to overwrite memory. Exploitation requires a user or application to process the image; the resulting code runs with that process's privileges.
