Privacy preference bypass via sandbox access failure

Sandbox access control in Apple iOS before 13.5 and macOS before 10.15.5 allows local users to bypass Privacy preferences. Apple has not disclosed which Sandbox rule or access check improperly accepts an application's request to protected data. A local user must run a malicious application; the bypass can expose data guarded by system Privacy preferences.
