Code execution via malformed DWG bounds check
Published Jun 25, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Memory corruption in Adobe Illustrator 24.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted DWG file on Windows. The TD_Db_3.05src_10.dll DWG plug-in decodes malformed drawing data with an improper bounds check, causing out-of-bounds memory access. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and successful code execution runs in the context of that current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
