Heap overflow in Adobe After Effects 17.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code after required user interaction. Adobe identifies the defect only as a heap overflow and does not disclose the affected parser, file format, or erroneous memory operation. Successful exploitation runs arbitrary code with the current user's privileges on affected Windows and macOS systems.
