Information disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe DNG Software Development Kit 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via DNG input. Adobe identifies the flaw only as one of several out-of-bounds reads and has not disclosed the affected parser, code path, or unchecked length operation. The SDK must be integrated into software that accepts attacker-controlled DNG data; the reported consequence is memory disclosure, not modification or service interruption.
