Information disclosure via MOV parser over-read
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Premiere Pro 14.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose information through a crafted MOV file. The MOV parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. Disclosure requires the target to open the file; code execution is reported only when the over-read is combined with another vulnerability.
